“I have not any special education and I have not read any special literature. Instead of it on my own I began to do experiments with different paint kinds and with the color. I enjoy with the process of creating portraits. Capturing individual properties of the man, I create and express people` the inner world.”

Artist chose red color as dominating color in his pallete because “red color – it is a color of love, color of life and fire”.

Nowadays Oleg Radvan lives and works in Kyiv. Made a long way through Israel, Canada, USA – he is a great man.

Art- this is his life. He never had any opportunity to get a systematic education in art and he became “a self made man”.

All his life observations, comprehension of what is happening, endless attempts and searches made a sign in his oeuvre.

It is known that during last decade the Realism find its very new place in art, enriched with all kinds of Modernism.

I look at each face, each body from the new standpoint, a little different from habitual.

The portrait by Oleg Radvan it is an especial look on women, child, simple objects, that surrounds us. Each one will find his own in artist`s paints … recognizable image of sweetheart, child` smile, girl`s dream – stately lord.

“I try to find something that was not descried yet, trying to show characters and personalities, emotions and intentions of different people. On my paints it is shown by audacious color, abruptness of captured poses or variety of shades of human face` expression. I wount get tired to intense for improving my creativity and I dream to spend the rest of my life in reaching this goal.”

During a short period of Leg Radvan artist` career his works appeared at more than 20 serious exhibitions ( including exhibition in Florence, Italy) and, at least, in 10 publications. Furthermore artist got 15 awards, taking participation in artistic contests.”
