Ievgeniy Volobuev
Eugene Vsevolodovich Volobuev born (17 [30] in July 1912, in the village Varvarivka, Volchansky county Kharkov province - Kyiv on Feb. 2, 2002) - painter, Honored Artist of USSR (1963), People's Artist of Ukraine (1994).
Children and youth spent in Lgov, where he began his artistic education under the direction of artist N. Arshinova.
In (1928 - 1931) - studied at the Kharkiv Art College, professors AA Coquelles IZ Vladimirov.
In (1931-1934) - a student of the Kharkov Art Institute, where he studied under M. Sharonov, SM Prokhorov.
In 1940 - a graduate of the Kiev Art Institute (FG Krichevsky and Shavykin DN).
In 1939-1940 - taught at the Kharkiv Art College, then at the Kharkov Art Institute assistant professor M. Kozik.
Member of the Great Patriotic War.
After the war he settled with his family in Kiev. The first time he taught at the art school, then devoted himself wholly to art. Formed in the republican branch of Union of Artists, was chairman of the picturesque sections.
He worked in the genre of easel painting. In his work the most widely represented landscape and still life.
