Roman Humeniuk

Roman was born and has grown in Kyrgyzstan. Since the childhood he saw light of transcendental glaciers of the Kirghiz ridge ,which majesticly rises at capital of the country Bishkek. It is natural, that the very first experiences with a brush and a canvas have been connected with mountains. And now, already being the professional artist, Roman plenty of time gives mountains. The Ukrainian subjects and mountains of Kirghizia is, undoubtedly, one of the main things of that its work. The novel identifies greatness of mountains with infinity of space, that (« Breath of Space »), the past « Breath of Space » was very brightly reflected in the Ukrainian ground in it to year in its last exhibitions.

At an exhibition « the Country of Mounteens » 15 pictures on which ridges and tops Kirghiz Tienn-Shan are represented are exposed. In translation with Chinese Tien Shan – celestial mountains. And, really, average height of ranges of Kirghizia exceeds five thousand meters, and separate tops reach seven and more thousand meters of height above sea level. So, undoubtedly, Kyrgyzstan is the country of mountains.

Now Roman has 26 years. Its first greater personal exhibition 11 years ago took place in the National Museum of the Fine arts of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek. The exhibition has been devoted to Chernobyl tragedy. In total 8 personal exhibitions of the Novel took place in the National museum of Kyrgyzstan. Besides for last 10 years Roman took part in art exhibitions in Washington, in Avignon (France), there was the participant of worldwide Biennial of the modern art in Florence (Italy).

In January, 2012, devoted to Day of Reunition of Ukraine the exhibition of Roman took place in a cultural complex of Embassy of Ukraine in Sofia (Bulgaria). In March of the same year the exhibition « Brathe of Space » in the Chernovtsy Regional Art Museum on Bukovina has been opened. The same exposition « Breathe of Space » has been opened on April, 11th, 2012 in the Regional Art Museum of the city of Chernigov.

Works of Roman are in private assemblies of foreign and domestic collectors. The artist basically works in technics of oil painting, some works are done by acryl paints.
